The vision began with Ann Hartfield, who established Hartfield Initiatives as more than a business. She created it as a vehicle to encourage, support, and invest in the dreams of every member of our family. She believed that talent was never limited to one profession or one path. Whether someone dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur, artist, educator, business owner, advocate, or community leader, she believed education, mentorship, and opportunity could unlock extraordinary potential.

To her, success was not reserved for a select few. She saw a family filled with innovators, creators, and future entrepreneurs waiting to be empowered.

When she passed away in 2012, her vision did not end with her.

Determined to carry her mother's legacy forward, Kym Hartfield re-established Hartfield Initiatives as an LLC with a renewed commitment to the mission that inspired it from the very beginning. Today, Hartfield Initiatives continues to serve as a platform for education, leadership, entrepreneurship, advocacy, and community impact—not only honoring our family's legacy, but creating new opportunities for future generations.
